Castelnau de Montmiral has a couple of restaurants in the beautiful Place d’Arcades where the weekly market is held. There is a doctors and Tourist Information office as well as a small artisan pizza restaurant, supermarket, pharmacy & perfumery, gift shop, art galleries & coffee shop.

Gaillac, our nearest big town about 6 miles away has many large supermarkets and shops. There is a twice-weekly market, a cinema and sports centre. It is situated on the banks of the river Tarn

The City of Albi, a UNESCO Heritage site, is also situated within easy reach on the River Tarn and is famous for its impressive Cathedral de Ste Cécile, Toulouse-Lautrec museum and is great for those shopaholics.
